The first one and only of this kind in the world the Tree Cake Museum was opened in 2015. The museum was opened on the occasion of baking a record tree cake. On that day the tree cake Guinness world record holder was baked - it is 3 m 72 cm tall and weighs almost 86 kilos. The Tree Cake Museum exhibits this giant.
At the museum you can see analogues of Lithuanian tree cake which are baked in foreign countries: Hungary, Sweden, Japan, Poland and Germany. Here you can also see lots of more than 100 years old ancient dishes and tools which were used for baking tree cakes.
The exhibition also displays both ancient and modern furnace of baking tree cakes as well as many other interesting objects.
Price of visiting the museum is 2 € per person.
